Cité Soleil in Haiti is one of the biggest "ghettos" in the western hemisphere and a part of the country infamous for armed violence and poverty. Amongst the gunshots, murders and struggle to survive are a group of young leaders building a social movement and using whatever resources they have to create change in Cité Soleil. From urban gardens to art, sport to community radio, Konbit Anba Soley - working together under the sun in Haitian Creole, follows these young leaders in their efforts to create social change. The movement is called Konbit Soley Leve, The Rising Sun Collective, a fitting name for a social movement working towards creating a better world for future generations.
Konbit Anba Soley gives you the chance to meet these amazing changemakers through an interactive platform exploring social change through music, art, gardens, sports, radio and community health.
